I'm originally from San Francisco, California, but moved
to the UK in 2007. I've been shooting for more than twenty
years and my work has appeared in a number of well known
publications, newspapers, and television broadcasts. Aviation
- particularly working in and around helicopters, has always
been a favorite subject of mine - but my photographic interests
range from from food to sports to whatever is happening
around the corner.
On the video side, I've worked with high-end Sony broadcast equipment, DV camcorders and remotely mounted bullet cams. If I had to choose between stills and video at any given moment, I would be hard pressed to make a decision.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the help of family, great friends and people in the industry who value what we do and - to everyone's benefit - have helped us produce some very nice work.

Photographically, my first experience with
Karen was on a trip to Spain for the Spanish Fallas Festival.
I already knew she could shoot, but I was pleasantly surprised
- and maybe even a little astonished - by her intensity. In
three days time with little sleep, she went from a red carpet
shoot to having holes burned in her favorite jacket from flying
embers covering a large structure fire to photographing Spain's
Queen Sophia. Sometimes I have to stop shooting just to watch
her work, especially when other credentialed photographers
try to duck under her lens and apologize for getting in her
way... |
